ABOUT
STREET SCHOOL – HIP HOP ACADEMY è la prima accademia di Hip Hop nata a Brindisi e Provincia, fondata da Teddy Wigga nel 2010. Da oltre 15 anni, la scuola si distingue come il principale centro di formazione nelle discipline urbane come hip hop, afro, voguing e dancehall. Accogliamo allievi di tutte le età, dai 5 anni fino agli adulti (genitori inclusi), offrendo percorsi formativi che abbracciano ogni livello, dai principianti fino agli avanzati.
Il nostro obiettivo è formare ballerini completi, fornendo competenze teoriche, tecniche, musicali e stilistiche. Inoltre, ogni mese organizziamo workshop e collaborazioni con coreografi di rilievo internazionale. Gli allievi della Street School hanno avuto e continuano ad avere l’opportunità di studiare con insegnanti provenienti da tutto il mondo, tra cui Nuova Zelanda, Australia, Spagna, Sudafrica, Canada, Stati Uniti, Danimarca e Paesi Bassi.

Street School ha collaborato in Inghilterra con importanti case discografiche come Atlantic Records e Warner Music, contribuendo alla promozione dei videoclip di artisti del calibro di Rita Ora, Charli XCX e Lizzo. I nostri ballerini hanno lavorato con artisti italiani e internazionali, tra Annalisa, Francesco Monte, Cristina D’avena, Baby K, Boomdabash, Elettra Lamborghini, Rocco Hunt, Lola Indigo, Alessandra Amoroso, Sud Sound System, Gabry Ponte, Clementino, Diluvio, T.O.K., Tormento, Inoki, Miss Triniti.

I ballerini della Street School hanno partecipato a show come Italia’s Got Talent e Battiti Live (con Teddy Wigga come coreografo). Hanno preso parte a Sanremo Giovani 2024 con il video girato nel nostro studio di Danza dal cantante finalista Lor3n, trasmesso su Rai 1.
RADIO
Da anni collaboriamo con Ciccio Riccio, storica emittente radiofonica italiana. Durante il Summer Tour, i nostri allievi si esibiscono nelle più belle piazze della Puglia, aprendo concerti di artisti come Gaia, Wax e Neri Per Caso.
EVENTI
Dal 2010, Street School organizza ogni anno, nel mese di giugno, il proprio evento, riscuotendo sempre grande successo da parte del pubblico. Brindisi Hip Hop Night si è tenuto in alcune delle location più suggestive di Brindisi, tra cui: Capannone Ex Montecatini, Piazza Sant’Apollinare, Nuovo Teatro Verdi, Piazzale Lenio Flacco e Piazza Santa Teresa. Durante le varie edizioni, il palco brindisino ha ospitato personalità come l’attrice e ballerina newyorkese Mari Koda, della saga cinematografica Step Up, e coreografi e ballerini di fama mondiale come Kelly De Nigro, Omar Khidiri, Orlando Moltoni, e molti altri.
INTERNATIONAL HALL OF FAME
Street School ha rappresentato l’Italia ai Mondiali Ufficiali HHI negli Stati Uniti due volte e ha collezionato in Italia ben 2 ori, 2 argenti e 4 bronzi. Inoltre, nel 2022, è arrivata finalista con 2 crew ai Mondiali Ufficiali HHU in Portogallo.
Il centro di danza è situato a Brindisi in Via Provinciale San Vito n°102.
STREET SCHOOL – HIP HOP ACADEMY is the first Hip Hop academy born in Brindisi and its province, founded by Teddy Wigga in 2010. For over 15 years, the school has stood out as the leading training center in urban disciplines such as hip hop, afro, voguing and dancehall. We welcome students of all ages, from 5 years old to adults (including parents), offering training programs for all levels, from beginners to advanced. Our goal is to train well-rounded dancers, providing theoretical, technical, musical, and stylistic skills. Additionally, we organize monthly workshops and collaborations with internationally renowned choreographers. Street School students have had, and continue to have, the opportunity to learn from instructors from around the world, including New Zealand, Australia, Spain, South Africa, Canada, the United States, Denmark, and the Netherlands.

Street School has collaborated in the UK with major record labels such as Atlantic Records and Warner Music, contributing to the promotion of music videos by artists like Rita Ora, Charli XCX, and Lizzo. Our dancers have worked with both Italian and international artists, including Annalisa, Francesco Monte, Cristina D’Avena, Baby K, Boomdabash, Elettra Lamborghini, Rocco Hunt, Lola Indigo, Alessandra Amoroso, Sud Sound System, Gabry Ponte, Clementino, Diluvio, T.O.K., Tormento, Inoki, Miss Triniti.

Street School dancers have participated in shows such as Italia’s Got Talent and Battiti Live (with Teddy Wigga as choreographer). They also took part in Sanremo Giovani 2024 with the video filmed in our dance studio by finalist singer Lor3n, broadcast on Rai 1.
RADIO
For years, we have collaborated with Ciccio Riccio, one of Italy’s most historic radio stations. During the Summer Tour, our students perform in the most beautiful squares of Puglia, opening concerts for artists like Gaia, Wax, and Neri Per Caso.
EVENTS
Since 2010, Street School has organized its annual event every June, consistently receiving great acclaim from the public. Brindisi Hip Hop Night has been held in some of Brindisi’s most iconic locations, including: Capannone Ex Montecatini, Piazza Sant’Apollinare, Nuovo Teatro Verdi, Piazzale Lenio Flacco, and Piazza Santa Teresa. Throughout the various editions, the Brindisi stage has hosted renowned guests such as New York actress and dancer Mari Koda from the Step Up film series, as well as world-famous choreographers and dancers like Kelly De Nigro, Omar Khidiri, Orlando Moltoni, and many others.
INTERNATIONAL HALL OF FAME
Street School has represented Italy twice at the Official HHI World Dance Championships in the United States, and has collected 2 golds, 2 silvers, and 4 bronzes in Italy. Additionally, in 2022, it reached the finals with 2 crews at the Official HHU World Dance Championships in Portugal.
